“You’re more than what you are going through” — Anonymous
If you or someone you know are in need of a change, or is experiencing a challenging situation and not sure how to get through it, maybe it’s time to get help! My practice is dedicated to helping individuals and families get through challenging times. I am a firm believer that everyone deserves an opportunity to live a healthier and happier life, regardless of past experiences.
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Drug and Alcohol Counselor with over 20+ years’ experience in the field, my passion is to offer a safe place to explore issues that may be creating barriers and/or challenges for individuals and families.
I am a therapist as well as a consultant, assisting medical providers, physicians, case management coordinators and insurance providers on the many benefits of integrating mental and behavioral health into the medical treatment and care of the individuals that they serve. I have had the opportunity to successfully work in a multitude of setting throughout New York State. Utilizing various evidence-based therapeutic approaches and understanding that not everyone will respond to every therapeutic style, I consider myself a therapist who integrates a bio-psychosocial and client-centered approach into the diagnosing and treatment of individuals.
I enjoy adding humor to treatment when appropriate and believe that every session opens the door to opportunities. With such vast experience, my approach to treatment is simply to meet each client where they are, while helping them transition through goals and objectives which they are essential in creating.
If you’re ready for change, I am ready to take this journey with you. I do not promise it will be easy, but I do assure you that it will be worth the time you invest.
